Eyal Niv, Managing Director, joined GizaVC in 2000 and has been active in Giza II, Giza III and Giza IV, specifically in the semiconductor, mobile communications and Internet sectors. He is involved in initial screening, due diligence and portfolio company business development and is on the boards of XtremIO, Lucid, Flash Networks, WinBuyer, CallApp, Motherknows, Total Availability and AdExtent. He has led or co-led investments in Oplus (acquired by Intel), Altair, Lucid and Cyota (acquired by RSA).

Prior to joining GizaVC, Eyal was a financial analyst at Giza Financial Advisory where he focused on economic evaluations and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he co-founded Super Computers Ltd., a firm specializing in medical database software for research centers.

Eyal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in corporate finance and actuarial science from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
